progress

4 half pints of pickled jalapeños done and curing. I should have packed more jalapeños into each jar but I think they're good. We'll know in 6 weeks. That's how long they have to cure.

Two 1-gallon bags half full in the freezer awaiting further processing - one green beans, one green peppers.

Another batch of laundry detergent made.

Fluffy prefolds washed and stacked on the shelf.

Fried green tomatoes made and tasted. yum.

  1. Wow, very ambitious! How did the green fried tomatoes taste? I am not sure I would like them so I never tried them. We have tomatoes and hot banana peppers now. We do however have the most enormous pumpkin plant you have ever seen. On the other hand, yours are probably humungous, eh?
