Outside

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6

The packing has begun. We have about three weeks until our sale of this house closes and we move on to what God has for us. That still isn't totally clear so stress is right there waiting to break me down at any moment. What I do know is that we have a beautiful, spacious house to call home for the summer months. That is enough for me right now because that is all God has shown us thus far. I'm confident we will find a place to live as we walk through this building process but waiting is hardly my strong suite.

Today, we're leaving. My girls and I are piling in a van with some great friends and taking a field trip. The Wild Center is our destination. Have you been there? If not, you should try it out if you like the outdoors. The whole museum is a big circle with hands-on exhibits and information for kids of all sizes. It also has amazing walking trails that smell just like summer should smell - pine trees, crunchy leaves, slow moving streams and fresh air. I love the mountains in the summer. Taking this trip is educational for my girls just as much as it's therapeutic for me. Something about the Adirondacks in summer just calms me. I need that right now.
