a bit of genius

On the way home from church yesterday, Lael asked if we could have crunchy taco shells with our dinner. I've been making these for a few months now and refuse to go back to buying tortillas or wraps. First of all, they are super cheap to make. Second, we're trying to buy as little processed food as possible. So its been soft tacos for us for awhile now. I told her I knew how to make hard taco salad shells but not regular size hard tacos. My brilliant husband said, "If you had some way to drape the tortillas through a cooling rack and then put them in the oven, I'll bet it would work. "

They were delicious. I baked them at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.

  1. I will try again. I commented once and while it showed up on my computer, it never showed up here. Just reconfirming what I already knew....I am computer challenged. My son is definitely a genius. You two make a great team. Excited about your coming down.
