106. Our tomato plants. We worked so hard on preparing the soil in the garden this year. Lots of cow manure from a friends' farm. Josh rototilled 4 or 5 times. We raked and flipped and picked and worked. For 3 days. But look at our reward. This is Lael standing in between our two rows of tomato plants. And each plant is already heavy with big tomatos! On the other side of the garden are two very full rows of green beans, 12 pepper plants that are so loaded one of the fell over, herbs that were already cut back once and cucumber vines that are full of flowers. Add in the pumpkin patch and some zucchini plants - we are going to have one great harvest. I'm so blessed by it.
WOW! I am so impressed!
ReplyDeleteThat IS exciting! I would so love to have that sort of harvest. One of these years, I'm going to give it a go!
ReplyDeleteYou can't see me but I'm totally doing a salsa dance over here...
