If you've read my blog for any length of time, you know of my love for Well Planned Day planners. Last summer, I had the opportunity to offer my readers a chance to win a copy of this fantastic resource. And I'm so thrilled to be able to do it again!
The 2013-2014 planner is so great for keeping our day organized. Not just our homeschool days - it does a great job at that! - but even our summer days. I keep my planner opened, near the coffee and the phone. It's great for keeping track of our summer plans and parties, with lots of space as you'll see below.
First, let me share with you some of the great changes to this year's planner.
The month-at-a-glance is now a two page spread, making more room for keeping track of plans.
There are tabs for quickly finding each month. This might be my favorite new thing!
There is a whole page dedicated to tracking books read, activities and field trips as well as your monthly budget. This was in the older versions but the publishers have moved things around a bit. I like this layout so much more!
There is also a great holiday organization section. Pages for events and celebrations, local shopping and online shopping are well laid out as well as beautiful.
Great end of semester pages - one for attendance and one for grading. There are four copies of each page so you can keep track of four students with ease.
Each week is laid out on a two page spread, with space for school planning for four students as well as these genius little squares for weekly priorities and menus.
And more great articles each month:
Overall, I have found this planner to be the most effective and useful tool in organizing not just our homeschool but our family as well. It's one of the two items I find myself returning to year after year. The beauty and ease of use make this planner the one thing I recommend to every homeschool mom.
And now here's your chance to enter to WIN a copy of this amazing planner. The giveaway will close on July 28 at midnight EST and the winner will be announced Monday, July 29. Good Luck!

You can see that my planner is in use. It's got my traditional coffee/mystery food stain on it already. |

SIX perforated shopping lists per month. Swoon. I love lists.

Organization is going to be a lifelong hurdle for me! I just don't think in systems -- I think more in "scraps of paper". Ha! But I would gladly try this out. The idea of my life laying open and organized on the counter, coffee stains and all, sounds wonderful! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe monthly tabs look like the perfect improvement! Yay!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect planner for me! I could totally use some help in the organization department!
ReplyDeleteTried this once before and liked some of it, but not all. Would love to try it again with the new improvements!
ReplyDeleteOh! I love it!! I like the monthly layout in 2 page form!!
ReplyDeleteI love these planners! What I like most is the month-at-a-glance on 2 pages, there is room for my big handwriting! I love the look of it overall.
ReplyDeleteI love the space for book lists...and the shopping lists! Yes, I love lists, too!
ReplyDeleteI love that it has everything I need!
ReplyDeleteI like that this would help my wife in her homeschooling!
ReplyDeletenot actually a feature.. but I like that it's a pretty planner
ReplyDeleteI like the activities/field trips page!
ReplyDeleteThis would help out immensely! We are starting year two in August and I'd like to be better planned!
ReplyDeleteI love planners! I haven't used this one before, but anything that helps with organization is good in my eyes.
ReplyDeleteMost homeschool planners have the basic month-at-a-glance pages, as well as weekly planners, often with meals etc. What sets this one apart, is the HOLIDAY planner included, and shopping lists...as well as inspirational articles sprinkled throughout. ~Danielle G
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteI have eyed this planner for years at home school conventions.
ReplyDeleteI used the planner last year and LOVED it!
ReplyDeleteI think the tabs would be a great addition.
ReplyDeleteI love the little tear out lists. They're so handy for keeping track of several stores or event list. Then when I need them, I can tear them out and take them with me.
ReplyDeletePlanning and encouragement in 1 place = great!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it is a great All-In-One planner! I'm new this yr to home-schooling so I need all the help I can get! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the tabs, the shopping lists, I also like that it would keep me organized. I would forget with out it.
ReplyDeleteLove the two pages per month and the tabs!! It is so pretty, too!
ReplyDeleteI like that the weekly school plans are right there with the weekly meal plans. I also like the holiday organization page.
ReplyDeleteI think the menu planning (along with the shopping lists) and the wide spread per month are two things that I already use on a regular basis, so to have them available in central planner is something I will enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThere are many things that I like about the planner.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that I like the most is that you can
use it for multiple students! It also allows you to
keep track of other things also!

The feature I like the best is the daily hour slots. I can fill in with things on days I need to an on other days just use the top part of the daily portion. I LOVE this planners and they seem to be getting better each year!
ReplyDeleteI have heard about this planner series. I just always thought I didn't need one. ummm..3 years of homeschooling under my belt and I can't believe how much I overestimated myself. After seeing this...it is a solution to a major problem. This would totally help simplify our lives! Thanks for the opportunity to win one! (Love the perforated lists!!!!!!!!!!!)God Bless! ReplyDeleteI'd love a planner for this school year. Just being able to keep the kids all on track visually would be great.
ReplyDeleteI love how it's "all in one"...everything is right there together!!
ReplyDeleteI love planners - but this one looks absolutely PERFECT! It's so pretty too! Hoping I win as I love anything having to do with organization and lists.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely day!
xoxo
I have had planner envy ever since my girlfriend showed me her Well Planned Day Planner last year. I love how each month is all together and I don't have to flip from front to back to look up weekly/monthly/daily information.
ReplyDeleteThe shopping list and dinner menu!
ReplyDeleteI like everything about it. I've really been needing one of these!
ReplyDeleteThe 2pg month spread and the 2pg weekly spread are my favorite features and needs. LOVE that layout!
ReplyDeleteI really like the tabs feature.
ReplyDeleteI like how it's not so bulky. Most planners, especially my binder, is just massive. This has everything all-in-one!
ReplyDeleteI have good intentions planning, because well, I usually forget haha The grocery lists in the planner are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteHaving homeschooled 6 children from K-12 all college graduates now I LOVE seeing this planner. We made our own in notebooks and looseleaf binders back in the day...1986-2006, 20 years of homeschooling!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried something like this. The start up again in the fall has me a bit bewildered at this point, so anything to help aid the transition back into the swing of things with a newborn sounds wonderful! Definitely willing to give this a try!
ReplyDeleteI really loved using this planner the past 2 years. With an extra tight budget this year I've been brainstorming about making one out of what we have in our home. Now I've stumbled upon this just in the knick of time! Fun!
ReplyDeleteI love that it is an all in one planner for everything - meals, schedules, appointments and more.
ReplyDeleteI like that this planner is a all in one. I organize many different schedules all in the same place.
ReplyDeleteI've used the Well Planned Day materials for the past 2 years. I love how organized they are, the amount of free space to write in and the varied topics and resources included so that I can keep everything in one place. For a family of 8, I need as much help as I can get!
