{review} Ellie Claire Devotional Journals

As moms, we are always looking for ways to point our children to Jesus. This takes so many forms - our words and actions, how we spend our time, how we interact with others, and what we provide for them in terms of reading materials. Have you ever thought about that? As much as we can talk and talk -- one sassy example in a book or tv show can unravel all of our work. This only gets more challenging as our children turn into young adults.

Ellie Claire Gifts has done an amazing job at providing materials for women that are seeking Jesus.  I recently reviewed their art journals and was so please to also receive their 365-day devotional journals.

Each dated page features a short devotion, a Scripture, and room to record your thoughts, prayers, and praises. The paper is a nice weight and smoothness. And I love that each has an elastic strap for containing any notes or additional papers you would add. These devotional journals are the perfect way to record how God moves in your life throughout the year. Prayers for a n expecting friend and a few weeks later - a thank you note tucked into the pages for thr meal you brought after a safe delivery. Prayers for more fellowship or relationships - notes from a new small group meeting folded in the following month. Journaling is such an amazing, tangible way to record the little and big things that God does throughout our lives. And to have a devotional that helps turn your heart towards Him mixed in? Just perfect.

Here's a closer look at the inside of each journal:

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus is the perfect devotional for the busy woman in your life -- or for you! Featuring a soft, beautiful watercolor design, a creamy white ribbon page marker, and devotions that focus our attention to Jesus in our every day lives - this journal is lovely.

The Earth Is The Lord's and Everything In It is the journal for the nature lover in your life. The amazing art work on the cover hints to what is inside -- devotions that remind us of God's amazing creative power and the world we have been gifted with because of it. I love the blue ribbon marker and the color throughout this journal. My artsy daughter has already claimed this one!

Peace Begins With Me has a classic marbled cover and gold features throughout. It is the most simple of these three designs but still so beautiful. This is the journal I'm the mos looking forward to. For those of us Type A ladies, that try to control everything, the reminder that there is only one thing we can actually control - ourselves. And bringing peace into our hearts and minds will overflow into the world around us.

So if you're still looking for gift ideas, I hope this helped! These journals are beautiful, thoughtful books that any woman - young or old - would enjoy.
